Ali Tiler was established in 1990 by Mr. Albert Legodi after tiling his house and realized that it was not easy getting tiles within the Polokwane area. He bought all the tiles from a manufacturing company in Hammanskraal, about 214 km from Polokwane. This sparked a need to start a tiling business as he got enquiries from nearby homeowners regarding where he got the tiles from. Some could not access them due to lack of transport.
The business firstly ran as a tile supplier and Mr. Legodi would buy the tiles from Hammaskraal and resell them to interested clients in Polokwane. The business then grew to him being a tiler supplier and installer and his client did not know of tiles installers in the area. Mr. Albert Legodi is a self-taught installer and has trained, employed, and contracted many tile installers since 1992.

Ali’s Tilers has an impressive portfolio of work behind it, including, Ackerman group- Pep, Pick n Pay, RediMed Clinic, other Retails stores and Malls in Limpopo, Office Parks, Schools, Churches, Industrial building, Homeowners of different LSM and Houses. Ali’s Tilers has also worked in other parts of the country including Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.
